1. Booking & Contract Formation

• Booking Authorization: Bookings must be placed directly by the traveler or by a lead representative authorized to act on behalf of all group members.
• Contract Inception: A legally binding contract comes into existence only when Wanderlust Trails issues a formal confirmation invoice or written itinerary confirmation following the receipt of the required advance deposit.
• Third-Party Suppliers (Agency Role): Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Company acts as a professional booking agent for third-party suppliers (partner hotels, domestic transport, wildlife safaris, and activity providers). Whilst we carefully select licensed and reputable partners, services beyond our direct operational control remain subject to the respective supplier's individual terms.

2. Payment Policy

• Full or staged balance payments must be completed according to the timeline specified in your confirmed booking quotation.
• Wanderlust Trails is under no obligation to dispatch vehicles, secure hotel rooms, or deliver services until the required payments have been credited to our accounts.
• We reserve the right to treat non-payment by the due date as a cancellation by the Client, with standard cancellation charges applicable.

3. Tour Cost & Statutory Price Fluctuations

Confirmed package prices are subject to revision only under exceptional circumstances beyond our reasonable control:

• Substantial domestic fuel price escalations.
• New or revised government taxes, statutory VAT, airport embarkation dues, or national park / monument entrance fee hikes.
• Severe adverse foreign currency exchange rate fluctuations.

4. Amendments by Passenger & Unused Services

• If you wish to modify travel dates, hotel categories, or routes after confirmation, we will endeavor to accommodate requests subject to supplier availability. Any additional costs incurred must be borne by the Client.
• Unused Tour Segments: No refunds, credits, or fee deductions shall be provided for missed hotel stays, unused transfers, or skipped sightseeing excursions if the Client voluntarily chooses not to utilize confirmed arrangements.

5. Itinerary Alterations by the Company

We reserve the right to make reasonable route, vehicle, or hotel adjustments prior to or during travel when necessitated by road construction, severe weather patterns, wildlife department closures, or safety requirements. Clients will be notified of major operational changes at the earliest possible opportunity.

Cancellations must be communicated in writing from the primary booking email. Standard cancellation charges apply as outlined below:

7. Passenger Responsibilities & Travel Insurance

• Passports & Visas: Clients are personally responsible for holding a passport with at least 6 months validity and obtaining an authorized Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
• Mandatory Travel Insurance: Clients are strongly advised to secure comprehensive international travel, medical, and cancellation insurance prior to arrival. All medical emergencies, hospital visits, or emergency repatriations remain the sole financial responsibility of the Client.
• Client Conduct: Clients are expected to respect local cultural norms and laws. Any damage to vehicles or hotel property caused by reckless or negligent behavior shall be reimbursed by the Client in full.

8. Complaints & Arbitration

• Immediate Notification: If an issue arises with hotel facilities or guide services, it must be reported to our management team or the relevant service provider within 24 to 48 hours to allow immediate resolution on the ground.
• Governing Law & Arbitration: This contract is exclusively governed by Sri Lankan Law. Any unresolved dispute exceeding 30 days shall be settled through single-arbitrator arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, conducted in the English language.

9. Company Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wanderlust Trails' total aggregate liability for any proven claim or breach of contract shall be strictly limited to the actual price paid by the affected Client for the specific service concerned.

• Copyright: All text, itineraries, graphics, logo assets, and custom design layouts on wanderlust.lk are the exclusive intellectual property of Wanderlust Trails and may not be copied, scraped, or reproduced without prior written consent.
• Disclaimer: Information and descriptions on this site are maintained in good faith for general guidance. The Company makes reasonable commercial efforts to ensure accuracy but accepts no liability for third-party external links or typographical errors.
